I love my life! I love that this morning I am sitting in a nice building playing the
role of intern drinking my spinach, apple and banana smoothie. I love that I can afford to eat healthy food! I LOVE that I am a bad ass and I wear skulls on my shoes to prove it. :)I love that the sun is shining and that there is a crisp bite in the air, which reminds me of being up North. I LOVE that since yesterday I have been fighting the biggest chocolate and sweets craving ever, but couldn’t bring myself to actually pay for sweets… and when I walked into my internship this morning, there were lots of chocolate macaroons staring me in the face. I love that I set an intention to get my sweets for free… and that is what I got. I love being a walking paradox. Oh man, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my car. I love that it runs so well with(approx) 215,000 miles on it. I love that my car serves so many brilliant purposes to me. I love how comfortably I can sleep in it. I love that it is a flower delivery vehicle and I love that I can drive it to work, and to school to see people and be happy. I love all of the good energy that dominates my life. I love that last night I was telling a girl about my day as a flower delivery girl and she hugged me and told me how sweet I am and that I inspired her to live with more gratitude. I love that she said (without even knowing much about me), “You probably only attract good things into your life…… it’s people like you who get the good stuff… good things are coming your way…”I love that as we got to chatting I told her about sleeping in my car and living outside the box and all sorts of stuff and she totally got it. I love that I’ve given myself permission to attract those who understand me as I make a conscious decision to release relationships that hold me back or cause unnecessary strife.. I love how freeing it is realize that I don’t have to repeat past patterned behavior and that is totally okay to surround myself with people who know the song in my heart. :) !! Let’s see… I love that I have so much to be grateful for! I love warm showers and I LOVE the showers at my gym. I love that I can afford my gym and I LOVE the way getting healthy and back in shape feels! I love flirting and smiling and giggling and EATING and sunshine and butterflies and washing my face and brushing my teeth and blankets and hugs and corny jokes and everything…. I pretty much am grateful for EVERYTHING. I love waking up in excited anticipation of whatever adventure or encouter awaits me and I LOVE that this morning as I woke up at 5:30 and was driving behind an ambulance with a man hooked up to a machine inside, i smiled at him and waved with my “just woke up” face and my glasses which sit incredibly crooked on my face due to having just one stem and we smiled at eachother the whole way until it was time for me to turn down a different street…. I love being me and I love that YOU are reading my gratitude.
Big Hugs and infinite blessings :)
Amazing, amazing, AMAZING! Now, you’ve really inspired me to start keeping a gratitude journal. I don’t even know you, but I can tell that your adventurous, loving, and open heart heals people and gives them permission to be who they are. Roll On!
p.s. A quote you might really like by Marianne Williamson:
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
OOOOOO…. Thank you so very much! I love that Marianne quote and believe it or not, reading those words today were exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you oodles and have a terrific evening!
